Lemoore Reserves Relocation

Our project goals were to create new administration and training spaces for the Lemoore and Fresno Naval Reserve Centers.
Budgetary and schedule constraints were some of the driving forces for this project. This project had to be completed under $1.5 million and had to be awarded to the contractor by September 15, 2003, giving us only 4 months to complete the construction documents.
Special attention to the existing site condition was imperative because of the many concealed spaces and different types of construction, which needed to be documented in the demolition plan.
We worked with the Navy’s program to design a space which provided maximum use of the space and easy circulation. Due to our efficient design and means of construction, the basic design came in under budget with the savings going towards the design of a new roof.
