Child Development Center Repair and Alteration

Joseph Chow & Associates, Inc. is currently working with YEI Engineers to produce construction documents on this Design Build project, located on Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. The scope of this project is to repair and renovate Building 1085 which provide support to military families as a Child Care facility.
The primary project scope included the replacement of an outdated HVAC and electrical system, the addition of new windows to improve access to natural light, the addition of a new roof structure to improve the performance of the building envelope while protecting the new HVAC equipment. Additional scope also included the remodeling of existing spaces to provide better uses and storage opportunities, modifications for accessibility, and upgrades to the finishes and lighting.
