Lemoore Fire Station Seismic Upgrade and Repair

Our project goals were to bring the 1960’s fire station building up to compliance with current codes, and to expand and renovate the interior to accommodate the current firefighting crew’s needs.
Since its opening in the 1960’s, the fire station has been operational 24/7 for over 40 years. Throughout the years the building with, its regular maintenance and improvements, had reached its life span and was no longer safe for its occupants. The fire fighters at this fire station would be unable to respond to calls during a catastrophic event such as an earthquake. Thus, jeopardizing the lives of both the fire station’s occupants and the lives of many inhabitants at the base.
In order to meet these demands, the building will undergo a seismic upgrade, improve living amenities, emergency power generation, exhaust ventilation, and alarm systems.
