Signature Flight Support Renovations - Terminal & Hangars
San Francisco International Airport, CA
Joseph Chow & Associates, Inc. had been requested to provide Architectural Services for the renovation of a building originally designed by JCA, the existing Executive Terminal at the San Francisco International Airport. The original $18 million project consisted of a four building complex. A 9,600 sq. ft. executive terminal, two 25,000 sq. ft. pre-engineered aircraft hangars, and a 2,800 sq. ft. vehicle maintenance building.
We were chosen to provide Architectural, LEED, and Permitting assistance on this new renovation project.
This project required JCA to make several presentations to, amongst others, the SFIA Design Review Committee, and the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC).
Completed in 2010, this project has been awarded LEED Gold. It is the first LEED Gold certified project at SFIA.
